I can't blieve I made it to this thread so late--- and me, the pharmacy guy.
Kayz is right-- don't expect insurance to pay for something too soon-- no matter what the chain, they bill the same places. Also, once you start a problem like that, they start relaying on the phone between pharmacists and then it causes more questioning and wastes time (and may convince the pharamacist to not fill your script). As long as you go to a different chain that doesn't have your insurance info. you can get them for cash-- just don't show them your card. If you are on state aid (and I hope you are not), they will find out nonetheless and get you.
Spend the cash and fill it at Ma and Pa's down the street-- and bring us a tit story after the ordeal!
