Definitely agree with what he says about bulking getting fat is not the way to go you might do well on a very high calorie diet for a while but gains eventually grind to a halt adipose tissue also contains a very high amount of estrogen receptors.
IMO you grow best around 10% body fat i myself now never bulk for more than 8 weeks while on cycle then lean out a little in prep for my next bulking cycle i would estimate that my body fat stays between 8%-12% all year.
Tried the whole bulk up for 9 months and diet for 12 weeks before but found that i made almost all my gain during the first 3 months of my bulk up and just got fat after that the scale might have been going up but it sure wasnt muscle
