When I saw the doctor earlier this year, I actually suspected Addison's disease due to the fatigue and weakness. Thanks to this board, I also asked to have my testosterone level checked. If you remember the post with my bloodwork results, my cortisol ended up at the top of the reference range and the ACTH stimulation test came back negative. That was a relief for me. Because hypogonadism will make you wish for death, Addison's disease can kill you.

I have heard of people who have suffered physical damage to the pituitary developing multiple hormonal deficiencies. The scary part is the pituitary is easily damaged by a hard bump to the head.
