The pigmentation caused by high ACTH looks like a dark tan. This appears even in areas not exposed to sun. Corticosteroids such as prednisone can cause the pituitary to shut down. If you were on the usual 4-5mg dose of prednisone, I do not think that would be enough to suppress LH and FSH. Your low T might just be coincidence. Or a pituitary that is malfuctioning.
