Well, these
test values make more sense to me. Your TT is at about 1/3 the Ref. Range, your FT is low normal and your BT is at around 2/3rds. This all adds up to me. Your Albumin is high normal which would explain why your BT to TT ratio is higher than expected. Your Albumin is causing your free T to be lower than expected. Of course a blood
test is just a snapshot in time but it appears that the math adds up. You Albumin is too high which is causing more of your
Testosterone to be bound to it which in turn drives down your FT. This in turn will drive down your SHBG as your body tries to drive up FT. Obviously your system is out of balance and the root of the problem seems to suggest that your Abumin is too high.
Now what to do about it I have no idea. I don’t know anything about Abumin production or why it would be out of balance. I would imagine someone here might have an idea though.
