I've been off HRT a few months now, just waiting on some latest lab reports. I did a program similar to Dr. Scally's to get off. I can tell u that after a month+ on clomid but mainly nolva, my bones and joints and deep muscles became so brittle and painful I felt like I was 80! I had to take painkillers to do anything more than walk. I also sustained a massive knee injury which will need recontructive surgery and I don't doubt that being on nolva so long played a part in weakening my ligaments and so on.

I was on 20mg nolva every day for 45 days. And 40mg clomid for the first 25 days of that.

Whilst on clomid and nolva, apart from deteriorating joints, I had zero sex drive but could get physically aroused. I suspect this is due to the nolva binding all the estrogen, but boosting Test levels enought o sustain a boner.

That being said, I've been "clean" from drugs for about a month now, and seem to be getting better all the time, and just waiting on some recent labs.

But yeah, I don't think there's much point in doing "periodic" cycles off HRT. Especially if you're using HCG as part of your HRT program...
That's the first I've heard about nolvadex weakening ligaments & damaging joints. Do you know if there have been any studies that have confirmed this?
