You might also want to try a protein carb drink during your workout to help keep blood sugar levels elevated enough that you don't go hypoglycemic. I have that situation in the morning if I don't consume some simple carbs. Keep your morning meal the same, or replace some/all of the egg with protein powder. Then sip on a 30g P/ 20 g C drink, mixed in 1 L of water, over the course of your workout.
But it could be your reaction to the cort pill. I have no experience with those.
