i personally have nothing against joining the military but it has a really shitty Pros and Cons lists according to most things we can do careerwise.

I mean lets say you want to become a doctor.The pros are great money usually and a career where you know you are helping people.On the con side med school isnt easy and the gigantic student loans most people would have to take are something to consider.

With these military guys only thing they really have going for them is their benefits and MAYBE they might get a medal oneday.On the downside REALLY crappy money,long trips away from home so you might as well forget about getting in a serious relationship or spending time with your family.Yeah the chance of coming back in a bodybag is kinda high too if you happen to be in Iraq.

Personally i really dont think its worth it.If anything the US government is seeing all time lows when it comes to recruiting.If they increased the pay a bit more people might consider joining.
