I think you might be on the money. I have not had anywhere near the same level of nausea since late October, and I'd say its my body adapting to the higher lactic acid and prolly storing more bicarbonate in readiness for it. As to why I started getting nauseous in the first place, I'd say it was because a new breathing technique was allowing me to work my muscles a fair bit harder and therefore more lactic acid (breathing in before each exertion and then out just after it....
