I actually like the Dorian of the early '90's but by about '95 he had overdone it and the gut/midsection was just too big. Similar to what happened with Ronnie. When he first started winning the Olympia in '98-'99, he looked phenomenal. But in the quest for size, he quickly lost what made him great as his gut just ballooned out.
To me, a tight midsection is just as important as arm or leg development and overall symmetry when looking for greatness. You either have what it takes to be both developed and symmetrical, or you might as well go be a powerlifter.
