Yeah I agree with the fact that so many people make a big deal about so called "illegal performance enhancing" and what is cheating in sport but they don't even consider other things that is possible cheating or creating a unfair competitive advantage.
I definitely suggest you guys read some of ASAP Nutrition blogs on his myspace page on this subject. He is a member here as well. Some of what he said and some other bloggers hit i dead on the head.
I remember reading a story some time ago that "Tommy John" surgery makes an picture elbow stronger then what nature designed and that some athletes were opting for elective surgery to give themselves an competitive edge although they are not injured.
Is that cheating?
I know personally that many BMX racers opt to have some muscle in their forearm to reduce the fatiqued they suffer from all the impacts while racing. If they do that and another racer doesn't then does the racer who opted for the surgery has an competitive advantage? And if so what is wrong with that?
