Default TCyp Drawing Question

The nurse that showed be how to inject kind of went fast when showing how to draw into the syringe. I just started some self injections for Candida and mold allergies my Dr. found. Naturally this stuff is much more liquid and a small insulin needle can be used. They sent directions home on how to administer the medicine since I already self inject but might need a reminder. It is just an easy SubQ. The part that got me was they said to draw air into the syringe up to the amount of medicine you need and inject this into the vial. Then you just draw in the medicine to the level you need and proceed.

With the TCyp I just stick the needle into the vial and draw back on the plunger. The oil slowly runs in. Should I be injecting air into the vial to make it easier? I thought you would be introducing containments with the air. I use 1ml vials for the TCyp so it doesn't last long so maybe it wouldn't be a problem.
