You may also want to get some more labs performed including thyroid tests and you may want to consider an ACTH stim test in order to check adrenal reserve. This will serve as somewhat of a baseline before re-starting hydrocortisone (while slowly ramping up) which i strongly recommend as it seems, based on your short description of symptoms, you're hammering your adrenals with the thyroid meds.
Recommend HC be administered under the care of a (new?) physician while monitoring blood tests, temps, pulse, libido, etc. |
Thanks , thats helpful, same doc upt thyroid too high and stopt HC, I have cut back on thyroid and started glandulars to see if they are enough, was on HC for 2 years and I am not so sure its something to take for ever, what is value of ACTH
test, is that the one where they inject you for 1/2 a hour and check bloods before and after or something like that, saliva
test for HC was on floor and checking blood pressure standing after sitting showed a drop where it used to go up on standing+ I am stressed.
