another interesting aspect of doing deadlifts is the psychological effect of lifting HEAVY weights. I'm convinced that by working with the inherently heavier weights associasted with deadlifting, that you will be able to breakthrough plateaus in other excercises. You will develope confidence in your ability to handle the heavier weights. often we are our own worst enemies when it comes to making steady progress.
