I think he has people's best interests in mind. The problem is that he's been exposed to the stigma and rhetoric surrounding DNP that's frequently found on the boards. Someone hears that DNP is outrageously dangerous and, without knowing much of anything about it, they pass it on. They say "why not? apparently a lot of people think this stuff is crazy to take, and I don't want anyone to get hurt, so I might as well pass it on." When someone talks about it, they chime in with "dude, that stuff is like rat poison, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Think about your health bro. Don't do it." Again, people who say things like this have people's best interests in mind, they're just unaware pretty much all data on DNP that would allow them to have an objective opinion.

If you want to change someone's mind, it takes evidence and reason. That's why I'm always posting references and quotes from the research on DNP. Even then, sometimes people are so entrenched in dogma that there's substantial resistance to a change in ideas. At times, some people seem so sure of their unfounded opinion that it seems no amount of evidence to the contrary would sway them. With time and evidence, though, it seems most people come around, stop being so obstinate, and start to develop a more objective opinion.
