As HAN says, rule out everything else before adding in hormones. Check for tick-borne infection (lyme, babesia, bartonella, etc.) Babesia infects the RBCs and may cause shortness of breath, fatigue, and other symptoms, especially in the presence of lyme disease... Lyme patients sometimes show reduced conversion of T4 to T3...
