Hey Doc. I have a lifelong condition of the skin called
lichen planus that results in occasional itchy purple spots. I usually treat them with cortisone cream and get by. On rare occasions, however, the breakouts are too severe to be treated with cream and I am prescribed the seven-day regimen of
prednisone pills (a corticosteriod), each day in decreasing amounts, and this usually takes care of it. (Sorry for writing "prednisol" in the title. Appears I can't change it.)
It's about one of those occasions about now but I am worried about getting prednisol in the weeks just before I am to begin a medium-level cycle with
Sustanon and Tren E involved. I haven't come clean with my new doctor yet on my steroid use, but if I did I'm betting he wouldn't prescribe prednisone. I know that overuse of coritcosteroids can have terrible side effects.
Can you tell me, Dr Scally, if prednisone is safe to use just before using regular AAS? Does prednisone lower the production of my HPTA?
Thanks in advance.
