It just popped into my head: Maybe he keeps shouting "Yeah Buddy!" because he has to, not because he wants to. Probably not but still it makes me think.

If he had Tourette or something else, he would also say it outside the gym so it's safe to say that he's just fine.

However, yelling lightweight before lifting actually helps. I tried it a few times and it really made me feel like the first 3-4 reps were actually lighter.

I know it's a stupid idea and no one is probably going to think it's true, but I bet a lot of people will read this and actually stop for a second to think it over.
