Default Frustrating weight loss

I was eating 2500 calories and working out 7 days a week. Some days I would be lifting weights, and some days would be cardio for 45 mins. I was not losing weight, but maintaining it (235lbs). On occasion it would actually go up to like 236 or 237 and drop back down. I found out later on that I was actually undereating because 2500 calories is for someone who does no exercise. I was burning at least 400-500 calories a day with the work I was doing, so I should've been eating closer to maintenence. But why did my weight not change? How could it not change? I started eating closer to maintenence now and the scale still won't move. I got really frustrated and did a shitload of cardio and ate like 1800 calories. My weight changed by 1.2 lbs the next day, but my biceps were completely flat and look like they're gone. I had some decent muscle going, but I'm starting to lose it all. I'm shocked at how fast a years worth a weight training can dissapear completely. I'm at a loss now and don't know what to do. Should I just accept that I will lose nearly all of my muscle if I am going to lose alot of weight? Should I not expect weight training to increase the size of my muscles?

the scale does not tell the whole story. because you are working out you may be turning fat into muscle and muscle weights more.

Okay here is my question, what do you want to weigh? Next question, what is your diet like? Do you drink alcohol, what kind of snacks do you eat. Do you drink milk or any other dairy product? Do you take in any caffeine? What supplements are you using?? How much protein are you taking in every day. What's your main source of carbs?

When you work out for 45 mins doing cardio, is it a sustained consistant decent heavy breathing, or could you hold a conversation with someone? Are you able to maintain that for 45 mins?

Weight training questions: What is your current routine? Why only a few days a week? Your weight training routine should be 4-5 days a week, along with cardio 4-5 days a week.

Also scales are a piece of poop, you should only stand on it every few days, to a week.

I can help you more when you answer those questions above. Also I need to know your age as well.

Thanks
