Pound for pound is bullshit in that it ALWAYS favors the lighter lifter. Obviously, Mr. Garingo, you're sub-200lbs. No one else says that kind of shit. |

And its not for the lack of trying! The Pound for pound shit comes from all the boxing talk I do on boxing scene forum . And Franco was undoubtedly stronger than 95% of the biggest guys of his time!!

I think the strongest BBer of all time is Marius Pudzinowski. I believe he has competed in a few European shows. |

The video I saw was of Ronnie benching with 200 lb dbells for 10 or so reps. Im pretty sure AM could do that he if wanted to. |

| | Re: Strongest BB Of All Time It was directly beneath it. Who the fuck needs to qoute? I'm telling you right now that AM CAN NOT do that. That's 400lbs for 10 reps. Like I said, the last I saw, he could hit 300+ for a COUPLE of reps. End of argument. |

I dont think AM could do 200x for overhead, but as Ive said repeatedly, I have no doubt he could blast out 200x10 for bench. |

| | Re: Strongest BB Of All Time Did I read this wrong or was the topic top ten strongest? If so I think you would have to include some of the dudes like Marvin Eder and John Grimek. I remember reading that Eder was super strong and steroids werent really around much back then. |

Try doing smith machine squats and setting pins just paralell ... then when you hit the pins rest all the weight on the pin, then try pushing from there .. You will want to go back to OLY squats after that ... I was impressed with Animals deadlift in the video but to be honest, i'm not very impressed with many lifts powder lifters do because of the techneques they use to complete the reps .. bounce, partial reps because of big bellys not having to go all the way down to chest but instead going to big belly, AND those shirts being the worst .. When someone using shirts and all those techneques compete with those using the same then fine but if someone benches 800lbs with a shirt, and then brags about being able to bench 800lbs away from his powerlifting friends, that's just wrong if you ask me ... Tank's 600lb bench wasn't impressive to many but at least he did it without a shirt .. not trying to start a fight with powerlifters either trust me, i'm just voicing my opinion ... i love you all |

I think the strongest BBer of all time is Marius Pudzinowski. I believe he has competed in a few European shows. | Well, Mr. Smartypants, a "dumbell press" implies a shoulder press. At least to me it does. If I was talking about a DB BENCHpress, then I'd have said as much. So, HAH!
