Franco without a doubt. When Ronnie compets in a real power lifting comp we will see what he can really lift....for now I think his lifts are BS and so are the weights he uses.

Ronnie began as a PL.

Pound for pound is bullshit in that it ALWAYS favors the lighter lifter. Obviously, Mr. Garingo, you're sub-200lbs. No one else says that kind of shit.

215 actually, but near enough. And its not for the lack of trying! The Pound for pound shit comes from all the boxing talk I do on boxing scene forum . And Franco was undoubtedly stronger than 95% of the biggest guys of his time!!

I dont think Ronnies 200x10 dumbell presses is all that impressive. Id bet $10 that our own AnimalMass could do that on a normal training day.

I think the strongest BBer of all time is Marius Pudzinowski. I believe he has competed in a few European shows.

Honestly, I don't think he could. The last I saw of his training logs, he was BB OHPing a bit over 300lbs.

Markus Ruhl is damn strong... Check out Made in Germany where he's leg pressing 2100 lbs for like 10 reps.

It'd be more impressive if he was Oly squatting 600 for reps without a belt.

What are you talking about? If you were replying to my comment, then learn how to quote!

The video I saw was of Ronnie benching with 200 lb dbells for 10 or so reps. Im pretty sure AM could do that he if wanted to.

It was directly beneath it. Who the fuck needs to qoute? I'm telling you right now that AM CAN NOT do that. That's 400lbs for 10 reps. Like I said, the last I saw, he could hit 300+ for a COUPLE of reps. End of argument.

Hold on, are we talking benching or OHPing? I think you're confused, Bob, because I'm pretty sure he put it up overhead. If not, then DUH, who can't press 200lb db's on the bench?

Like I said, dipshit, the video I saw of Ronnie was BENCHING. I dont think AM could do 200x for overhead, but as Ive said repeatedly, I have no doubt he could blast out 200x10 for bench.

Did I read this wrong or was the topic top ten strongest? If so I think you would have to include some of the dudes like Marvin Eder and John Grimek. I remember reading that Eder was super strong and steroids werent really around much back then.

I think it was on West Side site that i read OLY Squats are easier than regular because of the bounce they get at the bottom .. they said OLY Squaters can't do as much in regular squats because they can't get that bounce .. makes sense to me... ever try doing paralell squats and stopping at paralell point then trying to push up from there? much harder than steady rep because of the bounce and sometimes you won't even know your using a bounce because it's so hard to feel ... Try doing smith machine squats and setting pins just paralell ... then when you hit the pins rest all the weight on the pin, then try pushing from there .. You will want to go back to OLY squats after that ... I was impressed with Animals deadlift in the video but to be honest, i'm not very impressed with many lifts powder lifters do because of the techneques they use to complete the reps .. bounce, partial reps because of big bellys not having to go all the way down to chest but instead going to big belly, AND those shirts being the worst .. When someone using shirts and all those techneques compete with those using the same then fine but if someone benches 800lbs with a shirt, and then brags about being able to bench 800lbs away from his powerlifting friends, that's just wrong if you ask me ... Tank's 600lb bench wasn't impressive to many but at least he did it without a shirt .. not trying to start a fight with powerlifters either trust me, i'm just voicing my opinion ... i love you all

You're not supposed to bounce in the hole. The Westside guys are just jealous that without equipment, 150lb guys are squatting as much as they do in equipment at 250lbs.

Well, Mr. Smartypants, a "dumbell press" implies a shoulder press. At least to me it does. If I was talking about a DB BENCHpress, then I'd have said as much. So, HAH!

BTW, you have PM
