What do you/bodybuilders do to cover up tattoos during competitions?

I haven't competed yet... still working up to it, but I've seen guys at comps that don't cover them at all. I suppose the people that do cover them, just use some type of colored cosmetic. I bet it's hard when they've got all that pro-tan, and oil on though. I'll be fucked, one of my calves is covered

Ya I have a half sleeve. I was thinking of some sort of bodypaint to match my skin color and then pro tan over? Dont know how it would work. Im assuming points are taken off for visible tattoos. Thats why I ask.

I got my tatts before i was into body building..I wish I would have never done this.I think it takes away from my upper body now.My advice to anyone starting out in bb is to advoid the tatt shops all together.One of my good friends who i lift with has no tatts..he is like 5'10" and over 225..really strong and built..when he takes his shirt off all you see is his chisled physiche.
