And he's not even red-lining.

Im curious how someone rides a bike at 200 and can still take a picture? Just seems like BS to me.

BTW, the fastest ticket ever written in the US was about 6 months ago. A speed patrol plane was checking traffic and clocked a motorcycle at 205. http://www.usatoday.com/news/offbeat...-speeder_x.htm

Let's not forget the possibility that the guy had it up on a stand and was simply spinning the wheel to get it up that fast. I also don't know how well you'd be able to take a picture at 200....besides, the pic was in focus (VERY hard to do with all of that vibration) and you can see the rider's reflection in the gauges and he seems to be sitting up a little bit. At 200 MPH you do NOT sit with any part of your body in the wind...turns into a bad day REAL quick.

I don't know what kind of bike that is, but a friend of mine has a R1 and he has gone 180+ on it and he said it was still accelerating, if you like fast bikes look into the R1

Call me stupid. I haven't ridden in a few years but that still shouldn't be an excuse. I forgot that the speedo cable is attached to the FRONT tire!!! There's no way he could spin the rear tire just to make the speedo go up. DUH!!!!! So, it may be a legit pic.

Those stunt riders use alot of mounted cameras. I'm pretty sure that's a gixxer. It definitely looks like a Suzuki key. I've been 180 on a R1 as well. It's a very fast bike. Surprisingly stable at that speed too.

a bike could run at 200 but not at 10.000 rpm, it's too low, and it means that the bike could reach at full rpms 260 mph...

I got a GSX r 1000 2004 and at 185 it's at 12900 rpms
