Marius did compete, but was third or fourth, if I remember correctly. I cannot remember the winner's name, I reckon it was eastern european though. The competition was pretty good, they incorporated a lot more head to head competition and added the wrestling competition back in...... Well, that's about all I can remember off the top of my head. i watched it all. The semifinals(which i didnt care) and the finals. Marius got dethroned. That huge lithuanian got second for the 3rd time in a row and Marius got 3rd. The guy who won it was from the ukraine. He was very impressive. Semifinals were all head to head matches so 6 people would get first place and 6 would get 2nd. However, there were bonus points awarded for distances that u drug items or number of reps etc so it was possible for the winner to get 6 points and the loser to get 5 points and only drop 1 point. The problem I had was that many times the guy who got second wouldve gotten first if he was paired up with any of the other competitors. Marius and the ukraine guy(i believe) had a pretty intense wrestling match. Marius cruised into the finals tied for first with the ukraine guy. I really think Marius overlooked this guy. I had nver seen him b4 either. In the finals the first event was carrying an anchor a certain distance and than sprinting back and dragging a chain the same distance. Well the first heat looked alright with Magnus winning and looking like he might be a factor. Than it was marius heat. Marius flew down and pulled away on the sprint back. However he started pulling on the chain and slipped. He ended up 4th i believe in an event suited for him. He never recovered The ukraine guy was impressive. Annoying as hell but very impressive. He has the combo. of speed and endurance that made mario so impressive. Mario also got screwed on a military type lift. They counted it as a no lift and he had a chance to retake the lead. The whole event was a 3 man show. The other guys werent even close. In the end I came away feeling that Mario had an off day. He wasnt himself on a couple of events. Also, you could tell that he was really pressing after the screwup on the first event. It took its toll on him The ukraine guy is good. I think mario will beat him on his good day but it will be very close. That guy really shocked a lot of people. That is how I viewed it. I was hoping the lithuanian would win since Mario couldnt. Mario was just too overconfident as well. One other note, it came down to the atlas stones and they were allowed to use sticky. This kinda sucked b/c pretty much everyone got all 5 stones. In fact, I believe 3 guys got all 5 stones in under 30 seconds. You have just received this special report by thicknveiny from the beautiful bahamas. All opinions, suggestions, and comments are strickly those of that lovely wonderful hunk of a man and you would be well advised to take his word as gospel. Take care

they do 3 matches inside a circle with the object being to throw the other guy down or shove him out of the circle like sumo. It was pretty good for some of the matches. A couple of the guys were duds though at it. It was a crowd favorite. I think Mario was against the ukraine guy and lost 2-1. Now that was an awesome match. They were going at it and had good speed with their strength.the other matches didnt compare Quote:

zydrunas and virstuk are impressive, Pudzianoski has slipped, probably due to his personal issues.
