Prodigy and Reinheart, you two are simple "shallow" and un-willing to look at the facts. Most likely you guys have never even read the bible or done any meaningfull research on the matter. If we ( myself, Role Model, Dennis, and the other believers) are so wrong with our beliefs....why in the world would you guys keep posting comments? I'll tell you....because you KNOW there is more to this, you are curious and want answers. Your hungry for the word!!!
Ask God to show you he exists, if he doesn't....then you are right and we are wrong. What have you got to lose? | Thats right, ask God for proof and He will show you, But then you'll probably say, "Oh, that was a coincidence" and dismiss it again.
If everything is a fairy tail why do most all cultures have 80% of all there facts the same, back in that period of time? And for anyone to think that the human being is the most intelligent being in the universe and we only know everything by proof is a very close minded person. Because there are more things that we don't know than do know.
P.S. and the earth is round just like the bible said so over 6000 years ago contrary to what was just believed only 500 years ago.

| | Re: Any ANABOLIC Christians A great flood is mentioned in many ancient texts and legends, from Babylonian lore to the pacific island cultures to mediterranean peoples and even native north americans. This leads me to believe that it happened. Another startling fact is the architectural similarities between the ancient pyramids built all over the world by various ancient peoples... Civilizations such as the Egyptians, Aztecs, Babylonians, Numidians and others. (brain fart, sorry).
The world existed pre-flood in a much different state, which a layer of water surrounding the entire atmosphere. This is mentioned in Genesis in the creation story. During the flood, all of this water fell to the earth. Before the flood, however, the existence of the water would have slowed the aging process, lessened the effects of gravity, and perhaps even altered the tilt and rotation of the earth on it's axis. How could dinosaurs have existed under the current effect of gravity? Have you ever thought about the physical limitations of such large creatures to move and live in real live? A brontosaurous has such a long neck that it could not have truly lived and walked the earth unless gravity was weaker. Also, consider other dinosaurs. What about flying dinosaurs? Could something that heavy really fly?

If this weren't on a an anabolics site I would rather like to show my mother as she would be very proud to see this (irrelevant I know). Role Model, do you happen to have a passage that says its ok to ask for proof? I have no intentions on it but I thought we were not supposed to test God. Hence Jesus's trials in the desert with satan. That whole thing with the water surrounding the earth I surprisingly never remember reading. Guess I'll have to brush up before I can make any valid comments. |

Where in the ancient religions there was no mention of an "evil god" and people thrived, instead of just fearing god.

| | Re: Any ANABOLIC Christians I'll admit to being partly scared into belief but 90% of it has more to do with the fact that I can't see life coming from nothing. Like I said I believe in intelligent design but at the same time life had to start somewhere. There are theories about the first "cell" being created in the earths atmosphere forever ago from a mixture of the right gasses but I find all that even harder to believe without a little assistance from the man upstairs. |

Throw out christ, bring back Thor | There is only 1 God..he is omnipresent..he is alpha and omega.(there is no evil God).I wish there were no satan in my belief system..then I would not be tempted and you non believers would become believers.satan is the one putting the doubt in our heads."Fearing God "simply means having him in the proper perspective.

| | Re: Any ANABOLIC Christians Uh, dennis...if god is omniscient what is the one thing he cannot know?
What it's like to NOT KNOW!
The truth is we all are seeking answers and explanations, and as cultures, individuals and nations we kill, destroy, denigrate and generally act like assholes because "we" are "right" and "they" are "wrong". If we are the result of a creator then we have free will....basically that means I can act like an asshole if I want to, and I will suffer the consequences so stay out of my life thank you very much but no thank you. I dont have to justify myself to you, and you (please!) don't justify yourself to me. Remember, we/you do not have to be responsible for anyone else, right?
And I truly DO NOT mean to be disrespectful....far as I'm concerned i live my life, you live yours..."I don't have a dog in that race" to use one of Grandads' sayings...we all have to do what we feel is right, and I think its perfectly fine to tell the world how you feel: hell, I even listen sometimes! What I take issue with is when others start feeling like they have ALL the answers and anyone who disagrees is WRONG and they have the right to make someone else ashamed or afraid because of their beliefs.
Pretty fun read so far....always interesting to see different views. Guy's, ever read Neitzche? IMHO that guy is one of the most misunderstood free thinkers of modern times. I don't agree with all of his work, but he will challenge you, and this is a bunch of guy's who obviously like a challenge |

| | Re: Any ANABOLIC Christians We believer's are NOT "scared" into believing in God because of fear of punishment. In fact, its the exact opposite. Jesus has UN-CONDITIONAL love for all. It hurts him beyond imagine to see people suffer and to disbelieve. We believe because we have first hand experience in the "Grace" God has given. The punishment and wrath of God only come to those who deny the Father. This is not because God wants to punish, but because he is JUST. There are rewards for the pure at heart, for the people that obey his laws.
There is more historical proof of the life and miracles of Jesus than the feats of Alexander the Great. When you look at secular history and writings of past historians ( like Josephus) of floods, the earth becoming black ( when Christ was crucified), Jesus healing people, feeding 5000 people and on and on and on you can come to the conclusion that Jesus did in fact exist, he did die on the cross to forgive all sin, and was resurrected on the 3rd day. |

| | Re: Any ANABOLIC Christians One mans belief is another mans delusion...no disrespect intended, but anyone can "justify" what they do or do not believe in. The point i am trying to make is that justification is not necessary or even should be desirable. Would it make you feel good about your "beliefs" if you could change someones mind? If so, then is it possible that you are motivated by the desire to validate your beliefs? Not saying anyone is wrong, just saying that we should all be willing to accept one another and love one another and help one another not for any reason other than being in this state of mind allows our lives to work the way it is intended too...not because you are "right" and i am "wrong" but because our lives will simply work out better this way. Personally, i think the bible is an excellent guide to how to live and treat people...but as far as that goes so is the Koran and any number of other great works of literature. Should i be treated differently because i am not a christian? I am, I assure you....but then there are circumstances where i am treated differently because i am male, or a little on the short side, or reasonably well read, or i don't watch sports i don't play, or I am white or any number of "reasons". People are basically tribal in nature...we tend to defend others of our "tribe" or people we see as leaders or great teachers of that "tribe" however we define that. Basic human nature...I just think we have to be careful to consider any persons perception of reality as valid for them and let them experience the consequences of that without condemning them or treating them as if they are somehow defecient because they have a different view. I see all of you guy's (with the possible exception of Foreman ...j/k man, please don't hurt me) as brothers and I have been impressed with the support and understanding I have recieved from you guy's. After all is said and done I think we have WAY more in common than not, and I appreciate all the views expressed. Can we just go back to beating up on Alin? |

In fact Jesus Himself never preformed for anyone, ever. It was only those who believed that were healed. And still to this day is the same. He will never do anything for anyone with a selfish motive. Its not about us its about Him.

Throw out christ, bring back Thor | Satan does exist so I guess were still in business.
No mention of an evil god, because it was run by an evil god.
If someone is going to sell you bogus gear is he going to tell you in advance?
As far as thriving the bible says everything is good for a season than it falls. Just like the USA will also eventually.
You only fear God if you continually do wrong otherwise there is no need to fear.
I was sentenced to 6 years in the state penitentiary for something I did but turned my life around after I lost every thing and gave myself to the Lord. I ended up only serving 16 months and I believe God did it for me cuz it was definitely out of my hands. Now I will believe in Him till the day I die.
