Glad to call you my brother Role ! So many find the Lord while incarcerated..sadly though many forget him the second they are free.Some of us have to hit absolute rock bottom before we accept Christ as our saviour.I was hooked on coke for about 3 long years and did whatever or whoever to get it..I wanted to quit and tried many times but to no avail.Right before i was aved I prayed earnestly 1 time for God to take away the temptaion and urger for coke..he answered my prayer instantly..i have never went near that crap again..never..it was like a huge anvil had been lifted off my chest..shortly after i gave my life to christ and have been stumbling along ever since!

Well I can assure you I won't be one of those that forget Him, I'm more into the Word now than then. I was one of those that had to hit rock bottom before I could get it threw my thick head that "my way" wasn't working. Smith Wigglesworth is a preacher from the early 1900's that really opened my eyes to what true faith is. That was one of my sticking points "what is faith" I recommend reading one of his many books. One of my favorite sayings from him about the bible is "God said it, I believe it, that settles it." No wavering in him.

God only provided the Ark for the protection of humans and land-dwelling, air-breathing creatures. A huge number of animals would not need to be taken aboard the Ark because they are water dwellers.
Noah need make no provision for the 21,000 species of fish or the 1,700 tunicates (marine chordates like sea squirts) found throughout the seas of the world, or the 600 echinoderms including star fish and sea urchins, or the 107,000 mollusks such as mussels, clams and oysters, or the 10,000 coelenterates like corals and sea anemones, jelly fish and hydroids or the 5,000 species of sponges, or the 30,000 protozoans, the microscopic single-celled creatures.

Just a note, seems like everyone is asking questions about the old testament. 85% of the meat in the bible, as far as I'm concerned is in the new testament.

In my opinion the biggest difference between the old testament and the new testament is in the old testament jesus was not born yet.In the old testament there was just precise prophesy about him coming and how he would die and be resurected.Non believers..think about what is going on this week and next weekend..read about it in your bible.I challenge any of you to just read the book of Matthew this week.I was at large christian function yesterday.A big easter celebration at large ranch where thousands of guests come out for the day for huge carnival and picnic.The guy that owns this ranch is a christian..he pays out of his own pocket for the entire gig..he does it every year..food,rides,band...for about 15 minutes a preacher talks to the crowd about easter and what jesus did..he shares the gospel with all who will listen.5 people were saved yesterday there ! And no telling how many others will be saved down the road from this.I was a volunteer there and got to be a part of this..awesome experience guys.I wish role,ranger and the other christians on board here could have been there to help out.I am going to church now to give thanks and worship my lord and Saviour Jesus Christ..to all have a great day..and read matthew !
On a side note..the old testament sets up a time line and direct geneology where anyone can trace back ancestory and easily prove that these people all existed..the greatest history book anywhere.When you get into the prophesies it is really interesting and will get you to thinking about things.

I read most of it at one time many years ago but it got so redundant and unbelievable (to me) that I didn't finish it.

Old Testament = Old Covenant = Living under the Law written in stone.

New Testament = New Covenant = Is faith in Christ, who shed His own blood to atone for the sins of the world. Luke 22:20 says, "After supper, [Jesus] took the cup of wine and said, 'This wine is the token of God's new covenant to save you – an agreement sealed with the blood I will pour out for you.'"

Hell is the permanent and final place of judgment for the lost.
Hell is not only separation from God, but also is a place where flesh is burned and they undergo the pains and torments of what Jesus went threw because you reject Him, mock Him and laugh at Him. There are also different levels in hell, so it is much better not to understand than to spit on the one who gave His life for you.
Jesus shows the mercy, God has no patience for it. Thats why we must go through the Son to get to the Father. Jesus is our mediator.

Prod..how come you always took my advice on aas usage and you will not listen to me now that we are discussing Jesus Christ ? Why do you think it is sad that the bible proves itself through thousands of prophesies that have all come true?
