Default Chronic hunger or hyperphagia

Does anyone know what would cause constant hunger that really doesn't ever subside?
Along with this hunger I'm kind of scared to go overboard on the calories because my t4 free level was 0.8 ng/dl with a range (0.8-1.8) and low TSH so not exactly the highest.
I wonder if the chronic hunger is a result of the lack of energy from my thryoid hormone. Along with the throid I have a little bit of secondary hypogonadism.

is this new, or have you always been this way? some people just have a different hunger response...fruits n veggies with low caloric density can be a good way to sate continual hunger.

No just recently after I lost 15 lbs and became underweight, then gained it back around six months ago and am at a normal weight, with these feelings. I wonder if the fact that I have low thyroid hormone could cause constant hunger?

dunno, u should ask that in the medical forum...but in the meantime, u should seriously look for a good caloric density chart. eating a pound of anything is gonna make u feel full (at least for awhile), and a pound of strawberries has drastically less calories than a pound of apples or a pound of chocolate cake.
