I tried to trim my pubic hair when I was drunk once.

The next morning it took me a minute to figure out where all the small cuts on the bottom of my balls and cock came from.

How bout this....I was trimming the hair a bit before I shaved...however, I didn't have an electric trimmer so I used a small pair of scissors. Guess what I did? Yep!!!! I managed to slice a small section of my scrotum right off! Didn't even hurt though. Amazing. Kinda gross being able to look into this hole and see inside of it though!!

Oh yeah, and I wasn't even drunk!

Who hasn't shaved the shaft from time to time. One of life's simple pleasures, if you ask me. You've got to use a bit of judgement, though, and not become over zealous.
