Default elbow injury

My elbow hurts. There is pain where the forearm muscles on top meet the elbow joint. There is also pain where the tricep meets the elbow on the inside of my arm. Both areas started hurting at the same time. It started after what seemed to be a good day on the incline bb benchpress. I'm reasonably sure nothing is torn. There is no swelling or bruising. There is pain. It hurts to lift a glass of water if the angle is wrong. I've been exercising legs only for the last three weeks in an effort to let the elbow heal. Everytime it starts feeling better, I do something very minor (today I moved a chair), and it starts hurting again. It feels like the tricep is going to rip off the bone at the elbow. Have any of you had a similar pain? Is this something I can work through, or will lifting further agrivate the problem? I'm getting impatient. I want to work out my upper body again.

Default Elbow pain

Yeah I've experienced the same basic pain that you've described. I had to adjust my training to avoid certain exercises that were painful. That plus ibuprophen and glucomycin helped somewhat...until I tore the tri tendon doing incline presses.
Now I'm thinking of getting a cortisone shot.

yes lifting will further aggravate it. Odd that it still hurt after 3 weeks of resting it. If i read that right. I would switch to DB's and see if that aggravates it or not.
Ice is your friend as well
