I can feel you brother! =) Hey prod, i love to listen to stuff like immortal, absu, marduk, gorgoroth and so on but i can't really workout out under their music. It just gets tiresome. I prefer something with a more steady rhythm. The old classic 4/4 is the best. With some double base of course gets even better.

Man, I like everything....might be Clutch, Sepulchura... might be some old Satriani (surfing w/the alien) or even Tupac or Cypress Hill or the GZA or Scarface.

Also, I think the best "everyday" rock band no ones heard of is Stone Sour...

Snone Sour's singer is Corey from Slipknot, right?

Just depends on the song, but I love to train to Rick Ross, Limp Bizkit, Puddle of Mudd, System of a down, Missy Elliot, Justin Timberlake. Love lots of different brand of music but mostly rock.

Corrosion of Conformity , Danzig , Pantera , Down, Ministry, Alice in Chains, White Zombie, RATM , any Sabbath...

I dont care much for the cookie monster vocals either, I was hoping for that trend to die but not looking good at the moment.

Darkest Hour, Dillinger Escape Plan, Meshuggah (the new album is AMAZING), Soilwork, The Red Chord, Converge...

I second jmills on the Scarface...especially "My Homies" and "Last of a Dying Breed"
