no, you don't need sound to burn music onto a cd. i use real 1 player to burn all of my music. if you have it on your comp. just go to file-scan disk for media- and then select the limewire downloads folder and it will import all of your songs. then you can burn the ones you want. if you don't have real 1, go to downloads.com and search for burning software and download a trial of something like Acoustica or Easy CD Creator.
hope this helps

I have to have sound on my computer. Let's me know if I have some corrupted files. I hate it when I burn a CD, play it at a regular decibal level, and almost lose my hearing because of that scratching sound.

Hey Manwhore whats up?? If you are using limewire just go there and do a search for NERO. You need cable or dsl due to the file size. It was rated one of the best by pc mag last year. Peace.....vegas.

Hi.bud. I just want to know something about your recorder. whether it's good enough to record music wave track on your cd-disc. As we know .Yamaha and plextor is the best cd-writers in CD recording field.and you 'd better control the the recording speed less than 2X .then you 'll have a better sound .no noise mixed in your original files.

then choose a better soft ware to record it .such as wave-Cd record.nero music version. you can visit some web site to download them.
good luck

or you can send emails to me.I'll let you know them.
