I used to chew when I played ball. Levi Garrett all the way, until one day, during a team scrimmage. Let me share.....

I played first, and the coaches let us chew during practice and in the dugout, but not during games. Well, during a team scrimmage I had just put in my wad of Levi and was working up some nice juice, enjoying the flavor, then there was a hot shot down the line, I dove and hit the ground hard, but the ball went passed me, and then I realized I was missing my chew. Then it hit me. I had swallowed my chew!! Immediately I started to gag and yack and everyone was laughing their ass of at me. I didn't play the rest of the scrimmage and tried to drink as much water as possible. Needless to say that was the last time I chewed, but occasionally I miss it.

HAHAHAHA great story Levi was my first chew.....big thanks to Grandpa on that one. 9 Years old, big wad of Levi, 10 minutes later on the back of my horse im puking my brains out as we made our way up the trail. I was sick the whole rest of that day

picked up a can of Kodiak in HS baseball and been dippin ever since. Not too proud of it though. Gotta go cold turkey come Nov 1. Dont think the DIs are gonna let me have a dip after chow.

I chew about once a year, just for grins ... Don't like it enough to take it up full time... the taste is good enough, but the light headedness I don't care for. It messes with my appetite too, which is not good for my lifting. Additionally, it wouldn't go over well in the office if I had a nice fat chew in my mouth all day.

I chewed in different office environments for 8 years. It's amazing how accepting people are for the "Rain Makers". I've chewed either Kodiak, Rooster and now Grizzly since August 19, 1991. I'd love to quit but I love it way too much.--Penny

I occasionally chew Skoal Wintergreen Long Cut, too. I only buy about 1 can/month....whenever I have to drive long distances. It gets pretty boring, so dipping gives me something to do & help keep me awake.

I have been diping Copenhagen since I was 15, 10 years is long enough I need to quit but damn I love that stuff. I have cut back to a can every 2 days now.

Yep...fellow dipper here as well. Kinda funny cause i just went to the thread I started along time ago about this same subject pretty much...DOnt chew as much about 1 can a week if that! And my girl thinks thats tooo much!! I"m now buying the cheap shit, Grizzly!! I gutted a bit moutful of Redman spit when i was 15. OMG!! got sicker than shit!! Did it again when I was working for Menards. Was in the office and a customer came in and then another and then another!! I was shit, i cant make it to the trash can.....GUUUUUULP!!! WOW..I was seeing really cool things then...stomache was turning left and right...didnt get sick but thought I was drunk or high for about 20 min!!
