 Hypothetical, how hard would it be to hack into a university's database/alumni base
I was just wondering, how hard would it be to hack into a university and change grades. Or, how hard would it be to hack into the alumni database and add names. I am just hypothesizing, but I always wondered. It was always a big joke when I went to college. Hypothesize away....

I hate to state this but just tired of hearing people misuse the proper meaning of hacker. Hacker is a personal of technical knowledge such as a IT personel,software engineer or a webmaster. Cracker are those with the technical knowledge that uses that knowledge to perform devious/maliscious acts. But I hear that it is easier to crack into a University systerm/cracking their firewalls through the wi-fi connections. I know it can be done as everything can be done if you put your mind to it. I wouldn't mind obtaining the knowledge(wouldn't do anything illegal-just want the knowledge). I would speak with students at a major University and befriend them in their chat rooms to learn.
