Did I Do The Right Thing...ex-girlfriend Issue

So My ex and I have been broken up for some time. I love the girl to death been trying to get her back but she isn't having it. So I see her at this bar after 3 months we are finally friends. I didn't say anything to her. So my friend a fine ass gfirl I mean drop dead gorgeous, the finest girl at the bar and I promise every guy on this forum would think she is a DIME. Unless you don't like the britney spears, carmen electa, pamla anderson type girl. So she starts kissing up on me and trying to get my EX gelous and mad. I didn't want her to but I played along I guess and she was holdong my hand and all that so we walked outside and she was still all up on me and my EX had to see. So i guess she does the same she startude but this dude was hella fat and ugly...MADE ME FEEL GREAT... The girl I was with was the finest girl in the place hands down. I mean I remeber my ex even telling me that this girl was beautiful. So whatever she all on me and shit then I turned and she left. So was this smart on my part, I felt really bad. I don't mean to hurt her or anything but everyone says I need to show her I'mmoving on and all that stuff you know. I mean I know sitting back and doing nothing has not helped me out at all. I been dieing at home thinking about her., I lost so much weight and I'm depressed as hell. I told her I want her back so many times and she just doesn't care. So I just said fuck it im not calling or anything anymore just gonna show her im moving on...so you think she cares? was i right or wrong? I mean if I didn't have this girl on me then I would have been standing there like a fag, alone. Maybe she still would have been up on this guy, then I really would have felt like shit!!! so help me out what do you think..Hella of cool of my friend to do that for me though.

i agree w/ everything said. right now you probably feel pretty jacked up but you need to get over her. you need to focus on yourself - your job, working out, eating right, making and investing your money. if you've been meaning to go back to school, do it. focus on #1. fill in your time with constructive things. if you have some bad habits, work on them and stop them because they're dumb and you'll feel better about yourself if you stop. personally my most inspired moments are when i'm at my lowest. those are your most productive times, so use it to your benefit. find ways to work harder and make more money. try a new workout and lift longer and harder. and most importantly, forget her and find another girl. you may never hear from your ex again, so stop dwelling on things that you have no control over. a wise man once said the best revenge is living well.

If you are at all interested in a female perspective, this one agrees with the guys. Does she care? NO, sorry. Were you wrong? Depends on the motive. If you went out with your friend with the hopes that it would make her jealous and want to come running back to you, I say YES you were wrong. I can say that most intelligent, confident women want a man who is stronger (mentally) if not just as stong as they are. Pick yourself up and tell yourself you are better than that. Cali has wayyyy too many beautiful, successful women for you to be focusing on one who appears to be moving in a different direction than you.

Good advice. Get your life straight. Enjoy this time and use it wisely. Getting rid of the bad habits and focusing on the good things is definitely a good move.
