anyone know of a free virus / adware scanner. I got some weird shit on my comp I think I got from watching porn

AVG Virus Scan is what I used as well as Spyware Terminator and Ad-Aware. If you need links lemme know

yep avg is free and works good. Also, i was on the cpu geeks forum and they recommend cc cleaner which is free as well. I ran it and my cpu is working great right now knock on wood

I run 3 and all free :

Ad Aware 2007 by Lavasoft
AGV Free 7.5 and
Spy-Bot search and Destroy

I installed cc cleaner and it is great, got about 98 different thing off my computer and seem to be running a little faster.
I would recommend cc cleaner and AGV Free as the top 2 for getting all the major stuff.

You don't want a scanner, bro, you want something that will kill the viruses, as well.

Go to Antivirus Software: Kaspersky Lab - Protection Against Malware and Cybercrime for their trial AV. Then download the AVG. I think those are better than Norton.

I got 72 viruses from MySpace that Norton didn't catch so they were alot of help and a waste of money.
