I think I have ADD

what should I do? Here are my problems I sit in class and listen to the teacher talk for hours then I realize I have no idea what he is talking because I haven't been listening.(day dreaming) I try to pay attention but it just doesn't help. When I read the same thing happens after a while I am still reading but thinking of something else so I have no idea what I just read. I watched true life on MTV a couple weeks ago and they were talking about adderall and I was just wondering if anyone is has had this problem and gotten help useing adderall or some other drug. What do you guys think should I go to the doctor or try something like focus factor? Thanks for the help

More likely you are just fucking bored, man. High intelligence does that, and lame teachers with no pesonality or attention holding features.

Look at that first, rather than blaming yourself.

Doesn't mean you have ADD necessarily (go get some tests if you are that convinced, ritalin can help...), but just aren't interested in the book or material.

Find something you love, and see if you have any attention problems there.

i couldnt ever pay attn in class or get anything out of class so this is what i did. I quit going. May not be the answer for you but it worked for me. I had a gf who would give me notes and I got straight A's

Thats my problem. I get really bored with most topics quickly because they either 1) dont interest me, or 2) I learn them really quickly. Other high IQ people I know are the same way.
