if there was a draft i would go....also i think woman should be drafted too, only because they fought for equal everything...now its their turn to step up to the plate

I would go but I have a medical condition that I believe would keep me from joining.

I spent 10 years in the army on a volunteer basis, I don't see what some conscription time would hurt. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss the army anyway. I miss my buds and I miss being apart of something bigger than me. There have been times I have considered going back in, but the kids and wife would not understand. But if I was drafted and had no choice, hell yes, in a heart beat.

as for women on the front...as long as the standards arent lowered. why have someone inferior next to you in a foxhole just so she could feel good about herself. if she passes all the regular standard tests, then fine...no problem. besides, someones got to cook .

i would go but they wouldnt take me.but i doubt that there will ever be another draft...too much technology now.you can damn near fight a war without getting up.

they need to send our prisoners over there to fight.it a good way to reduce the prison crowding.

As for myself, it would depend on the situation and what my feelings were towards our governments motives. 10 years ago it wouldve been a hell yes I would fight. Now I am so leery of our gov. and how little value they place on our lives that it would be a tough decision for me. Being scared has nothing to do with it. Just my distrust of our government

Its easy to say.... hell yes I will go, but if you get that phone call or letter in the mail to report I feel alot of us would change our mind. I spent 5 years in the Navy and was sent to New York after 911 and I don't agree with the way this war was proposed to the American people or how it has been handled. One volunteer soldier is worth 50 that would be drafted. In other words I would not go until the our "elected officials" sent there sons and daughters to spill there blood in a foreign land. Just my 2 cents.

well if they start drafting 40 yr olds were fucked anyway. If they invade our soil I'd fight in a heartbeat. but not to crazy about getting sent to another country to be killed. My first priority is to take care of MY family...............11
