I did a search and only found conversion kits. This sort of defeats my purpose. I don't have space nor the money for a whole other refrigerator, though I could make room if I had to. LOL The only reason this perplexes me is because I swear that I've seen them come pre-assembled. That's where I got the idea from anyway. A few years ago I saw some in a catalog and thought, well, shit, this is a must have item! Then I'll have to get a full, untapped barrel of Jim Beam to put right next to it. You know, you can't under decorate. ![]() I'll definitely have to check out e-bay. Of course, I should come up with some cash first, eh? |

I've seen keggerators somewhere online (searched under "keggerators") that aren't much bigger than the keg, itself. They're pretty expensive from what I remember. I made my own about a year ago. My old roommate gave me his fridge, bought a tap, tubing, CO2 tank, gauges, etc for about $220 from a homebrew supply store......then just supplied the keg from there. It took just a few minutes to get it all set up and going. Just make sure to get the keg at least a day or 2 before you throw a party to let it settle and get the pressure regulated.

Just make one! Go buy an old fridge from 25-100 dollars and then buy the suppliies. Supplies should run you around 5-100 depending on what you get. Drill the hole in the fridge door, hook up the tapper, insert overflow tray onto outside of fridge and go buy yourself a keg of Guiness to put into it!! Very easy to do. All in all you will spend about 200 bucks to make it yourself. Maybe cheaper. Most expensive thing is gonna be the keg of Guiness. Thick. Coors light aint too bad but I prefer Budlight. Allthough on a hot afternoon watching football. It really dont' matter what beer it is. Hell i'll even Drink Old Style lifht if I have too!! 10 bucks for a 30 Pack!! Yeah I could do that!! |
