PRs and mexicans do not like each other from what ive seen. but theyll all of a sudden forget english if your talking to them about things they dont like or want to deal with. the cubans in WPB were bad about that shit.

I used to go to raves in LA and the Mexican girls did not like being called Mexican, they liked being called Latino. I can understand being proud of your heritage but some people get way to crazy with it. Why do PRs and Italians have to always have their flags on their cars :-) I'm Irish and Polish and i'm proud but i live in America. If i'm going to tie a flag to the hood of my car it's going to be an American one. We are all in this life together and not one of us is going to make it out alive so why can't we just all get along By the way,i called those Mexican girls whatever they wanted to be called as long as they were giving up those booties

Puerto Rico is (although not a country) an area part of Latin America. Therefore, they are Latin Americans. Latin America consists of countries within the caribbean, south, central, and north America. I am not Latin, so i actually looked into this out of my own curiosity. I do find it funny that all of these people are considered "spanish" by the general public. I do know if i was "spanish", as in "from Spain", i would be pissed. Hispanic yes, but not spanish. Spanish people have heritage from the european country of spain, as far as i know. And i think if you called a puerto rican dominican, and a dominican puerto rican, each would want to kill you.

haha...i think each nationality gets very pissed if dont get their heritage right. Like they have "mexican" or "dominican" tattoed on their forehead or something. But i guess it is wrong to assume someones nationality. I, for example, have this strange desire to kill when someone asks me if i speak spanish. Apparently, i look spanish to the general, naive idiot (i am not spanish, latin, hispanic, or whatever). I dont ask a black person if they speak ebonics just because they are black, do I? SIDE NOTE-not a racial stab there, most black people i'm sure, and i would hope, speak correct, educated english, was just an example, maybe a poor one, but knowing it wasnt racial, i thought it was kinda funny.

I call black people BLACK i call any kind of Spanish speaking people SPANISH.... Kind of like calling a Russian a Pollock. They all look the same to someone not of that heritage. Black people call Non Spanish white people WHITE. Who the hell cares anyway. People say i look Italian and one guy said i looked Spanish. Actually i had a few spanish girls ask me if i was spanish. I have no idea why because i don't think i look spanish. I can see why some think i look Italian because i have a BIG NOSE When i let my hair grow my sideburns get curly( a little)and my friend says i look Jewish.
