I was taking a look at some old photos of the 1993 Mr Olympia. Lee competed in this contest. Lee Labrada has always been considered as a man with excellent shape and condition. However, those were in the 80's and with the new and improved guys of the 90's it appears Lee was eventually going to get GOT. I know Labrada did an excellent job while competing against Lee Haney and the gang but when I look at those 1993 Olympia photos where Lee Labrada is being compared to Flex and Ray you can tell Labrada was being "out guned". Flex, Ray and Dorian had that GIANT muscle roundness and tiny waist. These guys were able to match Labrada on shape, condition but were BIGGER. Labrada was a great bodybuilder but during the 90's it looks like he was going to eventually get GOT. My question is does anyone think Labrada could have done anything different to beat these guys or was his time running out and a new breed was developed? |

He sure is one of the most sucessfull Pros out there. He had a great physique. I remember reading that he said he was falling behind the rest of the guys cause he was not willing to increase his usage to gain that extra 20lbs or so, and soon after that he retired.

Chris Gordon, I wouldn't even begin to compare Lee Labrada with Lee Priest. Puhlease!!- Lee Labrada was one of the greatest bodybuilders on the stage and off. Lee Priest is a chump, not a freak.
