Mcdonald's is in the process of losing their "supersize" option.. There is a Documentary called "supersize me" that has caused quite a stir....It's about a man who eats 3 meals a day for 30 days from Mcdonalds...He gains 20lbs and his cholestoral jumps over 100 points.. He is monitored by a couple of physicians and has daily blood work done.. the results were very interesting... |

I dont think losing the Supersize option will be a big deal at all for McDs. The difference in calories between a large and supersize fries is about 75 calories. Wohoo, big whoop when youre talking close to 600 calories. Phreezer, do you have a link to more info on Supersize me? Ive heard a little about it, but not much at all. |

I really never eat that kind of food, but I suppose I needed to remind myself why. Greasy quick cheap food............I have to admit, it does taste good. I lived in China for awhile, and McDonalds became something of a treat. That and Pizza Hut.......actually Pizza Hut practically saved my sanity. One other one now that I reminisce......A&W. When I was a kid they had a few, but I had not seen one in years till I went to Beijing. A Root Beer float kept me from becoming "The Ugly American" a few times. Oh well, not much of a point to any of this.......still feel like a lard ass though. BTW- The kids love to watch me eat......it's become something of a game. My folks think it's terrible that we have this growling hunkerdown over your plate and get your eat on game. It's not everyday of course, manners are quite important.....but you know a little inside joke about being big boys and eating up and getting stronger etc etc. Good night all.
