Met Chuck Lidell Tonight

He was at the Westshore Mall in Tampa. I went with a buddy last minute to do some Christmas shopping.

He says "Is that who I think it is?" How can you miss that haircut? Plus he had a TapOut shirt on. He was just loungin' in that omnipresent massage chair in Brookstones. I went over and said hello and shook his hand. I had to fight every geeky urge I had not to pull out my camera phone. I gotta admit, I was starstruck. He's alot bigger in person than how he appears on TV.

I was crackin' up later on thinkin'. "In this packed-ass mall, he is the stand alone guy that could whoop anyones ass in here." Must be a weird feeling.

he is really a cool guy a funny story for ya...............The day before he fought belfort in vegas (it was the one on fox's best damn sports show) we went to a meet and greet and I was walking through the casino and this skinny guy in a mowhawk bumps into me and I give him a go to hell look (not knowing who he was I had not kept up with it) an he said " Sorry man and was real nice" so I let it go. Then we get to the meet and greet and there is a big fucking poster of him in his fighting gear! We talked for a while and Tito Ortiz Matt HUghes and a few others were there. I have a pic of me Tito and chuk with me holding up the champs belt and them on each side of me. When we left I told my wife and my brother they almost got to see a once in a lifetime thing! A guy about 1/2 my size with a mowhawk kcking my ass all over the casino. I still laugh about it today and everytime my wife sees him on tv she always brings up the time I almost got into a fight with a bad muther fucker

I think he's listed at 6'3" but he's easily 1-2" taller. he also seemed a little heavier than his fighting weight. I guess most of those guys cut weight anyway.

He is definitely no taller than 6'3". I know this because he comes into the club I work at in Vegas about twice per month.

Agreed! I seem him at his hometown bar almost everyweek, so i see him a lot. Dont blame the guy, but he'll fuck just about anything... Ive seen him freakin and makin out with some snaggletooths! well, not all the time, but here and there. wtf, who am i to talk!
He's also good to have around when the bouncers cant handle a situation, which is most the time... there was a brawl downtown about a month ago and him and another bouncer, who a UFC up-and-commer, whooped ass on three or four hoodlum Navy Seals that were running a muck in one of the bars. These dudes were eye gouging and shit, (the Seals that is) but nonetheless two of them wound up in critical condition. Liddel blasts dudes a lot down there cause he used to work at the bars while in college, but his name is kept out of the paper everytime. Good for him because isnt there a deal where worldchamp fighters can be charged heavily for getting into streetfights? Hence Tysons huge ontorage of bodyguards?

You guys are right about his height. I had a roomate who was 6'1" and I was thinking he said he was 6'3", hence my confusion about his height.

Incidentally, he was hangin out with a fairly hot blond. Sort of stripper-esque
