MP3 Players...again

ok i'm all set to get my first mp3 player. going to go with irivers iFP-790T music player. it seems perfect for what i'm looking for and thanks alot to the people on this site who helped me find it. now the only problem i have is someone told me that they saw on the news a little special on mp3 players and said that the iriver one's can't have music downloaded from the internet onto them. this i find hard to belive, but the person swars by this statment. from everything i can gather it is clear that they can play muisc downloaded off the web(why else would you get one if it couldn't?) but i just want to be 100% sure before i spend the money on one. so just to be clear i can go to differnt muisc sites and download files that can latter be transfered onto the player right? sorry for what seems like such a stupid question but i just want to be sure. thanks for the help.

I have downloaded over 50 gb of music from supernova and Kazaa lite resurrection.....I have had ZERO problems downloading this music to my iRiver MP3 player. (not all 50 gigs).

It sounds simply amazing and it gets LOUD as hell!!!!!

Also, the software it comes with is pretty easy to use as well. And the thing I like best about it is that it uses flash based memory. So, when you get tired of a song, just delete it and add another one. Very simple to use.

Plus, it has an FM tuner and recorder so you can just listen to the radio if you'd like.
