NCAA Football season

With the upcoming season so soon upon us, i was wanting to get meso members pics and takes on conferences they follow and national championship predictions.

I am a Pac-10 guy, i think that depending on the way that the 3 powerhouse teams in the PAC end up against one another, The pac-10 will be a rep. in the national title game. Cal is the wildcard, if they beat USC, then they will lose to Oregon. If they lose to USC they wont lose again. In that latter case, USC will be 12-0 and National Champs. Cal and Oregon both have ligitimate chances too. Oregon will whoop up on the Sooners on the 18th of September and shoot into the top 5 nationally after pummeling them in Norman.

Actually I'm a Hurricane fan, and have been since the Schnellenberger, Jimmy Johnson days. The new ACC should provide some interesting matchups

I like the Ducks because I think their uniforms are cool. However I have to say you are high on drugs if you think they are going to beat OU in Norman. The Pac-10 never beats Big 12 competition and I can't tell you anything about either team, but I am going out on a limb and suggesting that Oregon will be handled quite easily. Maybe we can check back in a two months

I think that LSU TIgers are going to be very difficult to beat. Don't know how far they will go, but they will be a contender. Even though I am not a LSU fan.

The pac never beats big 12 teams ? How about Oregon over texas in the 2000 holiday bowl ? how about Oregon over Colorado in the 2001 Fiesta bowl ? How bout WSU kicking the shit out of texas in the 2004 holiday bowl. I oculd go on and on and on. Ducks are loaded this yr, Sooners are installing a new D, and it wont be clicking by the time the Mighty Ducks fly into Norman. Pac-10 wins more than it loses against the WAY over rated big 12. You will see.

let's hear it for the acc. coming into its own in terms of football. i'm a terp fans and our conference just got alot harder. But, we will have a ton of bowl teams this year. Even more next year. Acc is going to be the best conference in the next few years.
