No spyware. You can use two options when you are using a windows based computer. You can either click the option to open with windows media player or save to disk. I save to disk as I like to play files in other video player formats such as VLC.
Keep in mind many of these files are full video not clips and are over 200mb or more. After you save to computer you can always rename the file and for added security, use programs like AVG or Spyware terminator to scan files for viruses and spyware before playing them. All are free of it but if you need the extra security then do those.
