Bro's i've been on active duty going on 9yrs and i'm getting real sick of the bullshit. Frontpage european stars&stripes: DOD wants to make paying for sex punishable under the UCMJ, even in a country that sex for sale is legal,ie: korea,germany,etc. if a GI gets caught and they can prove he paid for sex=1yr in prison and a dishonorable discharge, what a fucking joke give me a break, sorry but our great president and goverment are not that great and the military is going to shit and its only getting worse, we are not the police force of the worlds problems, i could give a fuck about whats going on in haiti,africa or anyother 3rd world country and until we can take care of our own problems we have no buisness spending billions of our tax dollars feeding and providing medical aid to other countries,not when american born children are going without food and medical aid and senior citizens who worked their entire lives are going without proper care, FUCK THE REST OF THE WORLD!! yes i am extremely pissed off about this crap so BUSH,KERRY AND ALL OTHER POLITIANS GET A FUCKING CLUE AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN PEOPLE YOU ASS KISSING FUCKHEADS, they don't give a shit about their own country b/c they are all filthy rich and them and their families will never know what its like to go without, i've lost too many friends to iraqi insurgents and see too many come back scarred for life with limbs missing, i'm quickly becoming very disgusuted with my own country and don't like this feeling.

I heard that many female soldiers are getting pregnant at an alarming rate (how convenient). I also heard that when they get pregnant and request a discharge, DOD is giving them general discharges (not honorable)...I love it!!

Holy shit don't even get me started on females getting pregnant, let me tell you by regulation what they get: when first being told they are pregnant they have the option to get out right away on an honorable discharge plain and simple,most do not, so they stay in getting more fat everday,then if they are single which most are and live in the barracks they are allowed to move into housing, not to mention they can't do their fucking jobs anymore b/c uncle sam don't want no lawsuits going down, after the bastard child is born and they become an official single parent they must have a family care plan in writing since all soldiers must be deployable, this must include a power of attorney for someone to be named legal guardian of the kid in case of deployment, death,etc. if any single parent or dual military couple do not have a family care plan in place they will be invoulentary chaptered from the army and given an honorable discharge, go to the post legal office anyday and see all the whore single female soldiers with bastard child in hand waiting to get thier free ticket out of the army and out of going to iraq,plain and simple, trust me if i know one thing its army rules and regs. by the way an update: front page today sunday sept 26,2004, european stars and stripes: ARMY IN EUROPE SUPPORTS LEGAL PROSTITUTION, gee imagine that, dont our congressmen and women have better thing to do than try to makeit illegal for a soldier to pay for some pussy as long as its legal in the host country give me a fucking break.

Is it Congress passing the law or is it just a military rule?

Also, being legal in the host country doesn’t matter anymore. Recently, United States citizens have started being prosecuted under child molestation laws for having sexual relationships with girls under 18 in the Asian countries that specialize in the under-age sex trade. (Thailand, mostly)

So, technically, the fact that it is legal in the host country means nothing. I, however, do not see how this could ever pass Constitutional scrutiny by the Supreme Court, and I don’t think it will. I don’t see where the United States Government believes it has the power to assert jurisdiction in American courts for a lawful action on a foreign nation's home soil...

as of now it is not punishable under the Uniform Code if Military Justice to solicite prostitution in a country that it is legal, just like soldiers stationed in germany can drink alcohol if they are 18 although under german law beer and wine is legal at 16yrs old, honostly i don't know who wants to add this infraction under artice 134(general article) which covers a broad range of charges,they want to make it a specification under that artice, punishable by up to 1yr imprisonment and a dishonorable discharge, i think we have more pressing issues to address in the military than paying for pussy, someone has lost track of whats really important and has far too much time to waste thinking this crap up, and the one who's implementing this is probably the perv paying for child sex in thailand, the one's heading the charge are usually the biggest violators.

Mark i didnt read all your psots before i wrote this so let me answer your replies, fisrt of all i've been in the active army almost 9 yrs so i have plenty of other bad feelings to base my opinions on, trueisms not sob stories ok, now as for your other comments, most sexual assualts dont happen or almost never happen to hookers, its stupid drunk GI's meeting a girl at a club taking her somewhere trying to get laid getting violent when she says no and raping her, and theres plenty of that going on,not to mention the rapes of female soldiers in deployed areas like iraq, most if not all of this type of actions you never hear about,but i hear plenty and not just roumers, confirmed stories, i happen to know a trial defense attorney where i'm at, the army is not what it used to be and its only getting worse and if a young kid asked me if he should join i would say hell no, if you want to serve in the military go join the ari force but the army is going down hill. did i answer any of your questions?
