Default U.S. in Iraq

I have to say this again because americans seem oblivious to the truth. The U. S. invaded a small sovergen nation that was unable to stop us from "conquering" them in a matter of days. We are now setting up a puppet government that will sell , to international corporations, their oil at 10 cents on the dollar. As the most powerful militarily & economocally nation we should be the champions of justice and peace throughout the world, but instead we have become the most ruthless (over 100,000 Iraq citizens have died since the U.S. invasion, 200,00 severely injured, their cities bombed) nation on earth. Please work to end the slaughter of so many innocent people because Bush & Co. want their oil

If all we wanted was oil, why have gas prices increased 50% in the past year?

What would you call liberating 50 million people and allowing them to vote in the first democratic elections in their nations in the past 30+ years?

LOL...I hate to be like that, but damn. I swear to god that some people wake up in the morning and swallow a whole bottle of stupid pills.

Why can't I log onto Meso, drink my green tea with Splenda, and enjoy myself??? Is that too much to ask???

Because GW Bush is an incompetent, useless fuck-up who steps on his dick every time he makes a move.

If you did them such a big favour, why do at least half of them want your ass out of country right now?

btw, if you think GW Bush invaded Iraq out of the goodness of his heart to bring liberty to the poor oppressed masses of Iraq .... I'll let other people complete this sentence.

Actually, one of the worst things the little bush is gonna do is piss everyone off at the republicans, so now we will wind up with some liberal piece of shit for a pres.

Saw a bumper sticker the other day:

All the liberals can do is bash Republicans/Conservatives and Bush. I have yet to hear a single Democrat/Liberal put forth and original idea on how we can do things better. Everybody wants to play monday morning quarterback, but nobody wants to put their ass on the line for fear they will be made to look like a dumbass. You can disagree with Bush all you want, but at least the man makes a decision and sticks with it...it may not be the best idea, but hindsight is always 20/20.

Look, I'm a republican, but I do not blindly support Bush. While I agree with the war in Iraq I think he has handled it very poorly at times. But in his defense, NOBODY has proposed a viable alternative other than "we need to get out now". That is not an option at this time.

Paul Hackett, who is a marine turned democratic politician in Cincinnati, OH, recently lost a congressional seat by a slim margin in a HEAVILY republican district. He then decided to run in the Democratic primary in an attempt to unseat long time Republican Senator Mike Dewine....who I used to support but no longer do. Paul Hackett has more common sense in his little finger than Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Diane Feinstein, Harry Reid, Howard Dean, etc. have in their whole bodies....and what happend to Hackett (who had some very good ideas)??? Harry Reid fucked him and forced all of his supporters to quit donating money to Hackett...thus ruining Hackett's chances.

I would have voted for Hackett...but I will not vote for Brown (Hackett's replacement) because he is a life-long politician just like the rest of them.

The best thing that could happen to politics is term-limits on ALL SEATS (Presidential, Senate, Congress, Governors....etc.) New blood is needed form time to time. We need ambitious people with fresh ideas who are not interested in perrenial self-preservation.

Not a chance...McCain will be president.

That bumper sticker is old. My personal favorite sticker of all time is:

"Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my gun."

I'm a republican also, but we must keep in mind that baby bush is not a true republican, he is a "Neocon" which is actually far from the original ideals of republicanism.

What are your feelings on him wanting to push through at all costs the Arab (UAE) aquisition of 6 of our major US ports? Including our Beaumont port which handles alot of our military equipt?

Very true. Both parties have their extreme sides (Deaniacs), and most Americans don't line themselves with those factions. However, that is where all the money comes from for both parties. It is the obsessively religious right and the George Soros' of the world that finance these parties...so they always get their way.

I actually consider myself to be more libertarian, but there are just a few things I cannot get behind them on.

Until we have term limits for all politicians, the status quo will always remain intact.

I cant help but feel that baby bush has done nothing positive for this country; instead he has done more to destroy it and US foriegn relations than any other president in my lifetime.
