I know some of you fuckers hate basketball and hate these fuckers on the team, but they are beating undefeated spain right now.... and if they win... this could be huuuuuge for USA, however, they still have a tough road ahead of them.... I think AT BEST they could get the bronze.... but can you imagine if they come back to win gold, how long we'll have to hear about THAT?!?!?!

OK, now that you mention the subject Food, how could anyone not like basketball? It is the greatest sport, next to Football. Wait let me guess, Baseball is better. lol I don't get it, in baseball 95% of the game you just sit around. On offense you sit there and wait your turn to hit the ball with the stick, most likely you wont and you will go back and sit down. On defense you stand there waiting for the chance that the guy with the stick might actually hit the ball your way, and if he actually does the second you get the ball you throw it and resume your standing. wtf? What, a game of anticipation? Call me a control freak but I like being able to involve myself in the game. Baseball would be cool is you just wanted to relax, hang out, never really break a sweat but other than that I don't really see the competition.

I hope they take the gold, really no reason they shouldn't other than lack of practice. The sum is a lot greater than the parts for the united states foreign competitors.

I like to WATCH on t.v.:

Football
Nascar
NBA FINALS
World Series
Golf when a lot of the top 30 play.
Hockey Finals, and some season play

notice i dont really like to watch baseball that much on t.v., yet I was an All-State player, and played some in college. It sucks to watch, unless you are at the game, and its kinda fun for me to play.... even if you are not in the play you have to back people up, so you can be moving the whole time if you want... Basketball is just fun to play for me.... at the games, they go slow motion until the 4th quarter....

Food I love all sports also, I just can't understand why people rave over baseball and think that basketball sucks. Probably because they are not very coordinated, tried to shoot a basketball and got laughed at, no offenese to anyone, just seen it happen a hundred times. Basketball requires a lot more skill than other sports, you cant just pic the game up and expect to be good in a few years.

Have you seen someone try to throw who hasnt thrown a ball before? As for me, I love baseball, football, and basketball. I could knock basketball by saying all you do is dribble an orange ball around and try and throw it through a metal rim with some nylon hanging from it.
Overall, my order would be as follows:1. college football 2.college basketball 3. pro baseball. Basketball requires a lot more skill than other sports, you cant just pic the game up and expect to be good in a few years.[/quote]
