Bros, can someone out there help? My roomate (v.good friend) has just learnt he has been a victim of Identity theft!! Runing credit checks, applying credit cards, running up bills etc... Apparently the cretin who did this left a cell phone for contact information that is in our local area.. If anyone knows of a "service" we could use to trace this number and somehow pay them a visit, your input would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks guys. |

Jale9579, I wasn't laughing at your poor friends situation. I do not find identity theft funny. I was laughing at Grizzlies response. He said call the police. Of course, everyone knows that you should call the police when you are a victim of theft. I was laughing at Grizzlies response, not at the fact that your friend is a victim of identity theft.

i conveyed the exact same point to my friend after the anger subsided.. (took a few min though!) those services should be only used when you cant turn to the law, no? Has anyone else had similar experiences? What was the outcome, any advise would be appreciated.. thnx |
