Anyone ever use this drug or know anyone who has? ... Read alot about it and supposed to be better than SSRI as far as same results without sex disfunction (actually improve sex) and works fast ...

I was on it for a few months but all it did for me was keep me up most of the night and got the shakes.

Wellbutrin is an anti-depressant that's in a class of its own. Unlike the SSRI's that affect Serotonin (e.g. Paxil, Zoloft, Prozac, and Lexapro) it works primarily on Dopamine and mildly on Norepinephrine. Wellbutrin works very well for depression in some people, but does not help with anxiety or panic disorders. Also, as you mentioned in your post it doesn't seem to affect sex drive and does start working pretty quick. One more advantage is that it doesn't make you tired and can actually give you energy since it works on Dopamine (which is the same neurotransmitter that Ritalin, Adderall, and even cocaine stimulate).

I was with a girl that was taking it for depression which it did not help with. It also gave her the shakes and made her scared and jumpy at anything that moved. During a period of double doses there were weeks where she did not sleep for two days in a row.

Yeah,bro everything said above is true.........Wellbutrin give you shakes,you won't be able to sleep and it may help w/depression but it well make you feel shity other ways......I would say stay away........there are other meds that you can take that will give you good resaults,and you'll still be able rise to the occasion when needed

she should have not been buying and taking it from the street. if she was using it prescribed to her, at least the doctor could have prescribed a sleeping aid for her with it .. BTW that is the SR version of it

Bro your 1st post could have been alot more helpful than this .. have YOU ever used it? probably not .. It won't give those who are prescribed it CORRECTLY the shakes and not with the XL version .. When you say "rise to the occasion when needed" do you mean get your dick up?? Well if you do, then please do not reply to anymore of my posts because Wellbutrin actually inceases sexdrive in a very high percent of the people who are prescribed it, UNLIKE SSRIs .. HOLY SHIT!!! WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME READING THIS SHIT ... Is there a button here i can click on so i can keep certain people from replying on my posts? I'm serious because if there isn't, i will pay to have one put in somewhere ...

Hey dude, I hear ya. You post a simple question and...... I've been taking 300mg a day of the XL and have noticed no side effects. I have noticed i need less sleep but i don't have a hard time falling to sleep. It was pescribed for deppression and to help quit smoking, it worked for the first but not for the smoking.

I took my 1st 150mg dose friday at 6pm then 150mg every morning so now on for 4th day today not including friday .. Man i won't say if it's working now but i will tell you that i haven't had much energy lately without caffeine drinks .. I'm not worried about sides .. If 15 good hits of X amoung other things never gave me bad sides, i'm sure as hell not worried about a little prescription med
