They call it noodling in oklahoma when you catch them with your bare hands.

I live near a lake and my ex gf dad used to go diving at it all the time. He swears he's seen catfish at the bottom the size of small cars. If that's true I really don't know but several people claim that catfish live forever basically and don't stop growing.

I believe about half of it but still I've seen several pics of cats weighing 200+lbs.

Still I'm going with the great white. Catfish are bottom feeders not predators like sharks.

That is funny u say that. There were rumors around where i grew up that divers looking for something at a damn about died in panic b/c of cats they saw the size of slugbugs. I thought it was all hearsay but have been hearing it from more sources and now these pics make me wonder. I dont know about the lifespan and that though

ive heard the same thing about cats the size of vw's that live in the deep water around damns.it's probally more of an urban legend though.who knows? except maybe the drivers.no one has ever seen a picture to my knowledge.
